Vietnamese Culture

food     language     holidays     traditions     folklore     history

The Vietnamese culture is impossible to describe succinctly and definitively. Here is what we've learned from the various people we met, stories we heard and books that we've read. You're sure to hear contradictory information, depending on who you ask. Culture varies by region, ethnicity and age, among other factors. That said, here's some of the interesting bits we found out and links to plenty of other websites to visit for more information.

Food: A sampling of the many different fruits and meals that you'll encounter along the way, especially our very favorites.
